Operation and Project Management
We offer a ‘white label’ production management service, which means that we do all the ‘nuts and bolts’ work behind the scenes, to free up the Client to do what they do best, which is usually putting together the content, selling and marketing their event.
We provide technical support behind the scenes running up to the event and during, which will be tailored to suit your event needs.
This can include the sourcing and liaison with the venue, procuring and management of contractors, design and build, collaboration with the local authorities including obtaining of planning permissions and licensing, communication with exhibitors, and architects.
In essence, we put all the pieces together and take away the headaches.

Site Management
The Site Manager is the pivotal role on an event site. They are there to take the pressure off the Client, act as the Clients representative on site, and to foresee and avoid issues before they occur.
They are the ‘go to’ point for contractors, venue and authorities ensuring the build happens on time, to the Clients specification and on site challenges are dealt with and problems avoided. The site manager has their eyes on the small details, they provide confidence that the event will be ready to go live on time. They are the point of contact to answer all technical questions that crop up and keep things moving as they were planned. They are the Clients representative on site.
Health and Safety
A holistic approach to safety management will start with the design of the site or floorplan, and involve the drawing up of the Event Safety Management Plan and Fire Management Plan. These set out all aspects of the safety management, from traffic management to capacity calculations, crowd control to water safety, collating and checking risk assessments from contractors, putting into place systems of work and finding solutions to more complex challenges. 20-20 Events has managed the safety on a wide range of events, and will we take pride in finding solutions, whether installing large sculptures in public spaces or running demonstrations of heavy machinery at an agricultural show. We believe that effective Safety Management shouldn’t be onerous for the Client but should provide the necessary protection to give everyone piece of mind.
We can also provide Stand Audit services, Structural Assessment and Inspections for more complex installations. We nurture good relationships with Environmental Health and Fire officers across the country and abroad, and represent our clients on Safety Advisory Groups, in many cases providing the expertise that Clients require in order to avoid headaches on the day.
Construction Design Management has become an important part of event planning, both for large outdoor events and for exhibitions involving ‘space only’ stand builds. 20-20 Events has been at the forefront of implementing management systems to implement CDM Regulations since 2015, and has developed solid workable systems with contractors for events of all sizes.
Our team of onsite H&S Officers are experienced in various types of events, and support Organisers in compliance, delivering briefings, managing contractors, food safety, fire management, accident reporting and investigating and of course, implementing COVID-19 control measures.
